Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services reported 1,821 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, the most in 3 days but the 7-day rolling average for new cases declined to 2,149. The positivity rate declined to 13.8 percent the first time that rate has gone down since the beginning of the month. Two deaths and 50 hospitalizations were also reported. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says 380 people are hospitalized across the state for COVID-19, 17 fewer than the day before. Forty-one (41) of those patients are in intensive care units.
Winnebago County Tuesday reported 63 new COVID-19 cases. Thirty-five (35) new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 9 new cases. Green Lake County had 5 new cases and Waupaca and Waushara counties both reported 8 new cases of the coronavirus.
