For the second time in as many days Wisconsin topped more than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases. Department of Health Services officials Thursday reported 1,310 new cases a day after reporting 1,585 new cases. That pushed the 7-day rolling average for new cases up to 832. The positivity rate which was as low as 2.7 percent a couple of weeks ago is now at 6.9 percent. However, deaths and hospitalizations remained low with 3 more deaths and 16 hospitalizations. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reported 156 COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the state with 32 in intensive care units.

Winnebago County Thursday reported 39 new COVID-19 cases. Fifteen new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 13 new cases.  Green Lake County had 4 new cases and Waupaca and Waushara counties each had 3 new cases of the coronavirus.
