Wisconsin began moving in the right direction again Tuesday as 471 new cases of COVID-19 were reported. That nudged the 7-day rolling average for new cases down from 672 to 647 cases. The 7-day average for deaths also dropped slightly from 3 to 2 per day. The Department of Health Services reported 22 new hospitalizations yesterday. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reported 136 COVID-19 patients in hospital across the state with 23 of those people in intensive care units. Both of those numbers were down slightly.

Winnebago County reported 23 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday and 7 new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County. No new cases were reported in Dodge, Green Lake, Waupaca and Waushara counties.
