For the fourth straight day the Wisconsin Department of Health Services recorded an increase in the number of new COVID-19 cases. The slight bump in new cases Thursday increased the 7-day rolling average to 360 up from 345 on Wednesday. The positivity rate also increased to 3.1 percent up from a low of 2.7 percent last week. The DHS also reported 4 deaths the third straight day the number of deaths reported was in the single digits. Sixteen people were hospitalized. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reported 180 COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the state with 31 in intensive care units.

Winnebago County reported 7 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday. No new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 7 new cases. Green Lake County had 3 new cases and Waupaca and Waushara counties each reported 1 new case.
