3/2/22 Woman Killed In Single Vehicle Accident In Winnebago County

The Winnebago County Sheriff’s and Coroner’s Offices are investigating a fatal single vehicle accident that occurred over the weekend. Deputies came across the vehicle near 9557 County Road H in the Town of Wolf River. It had gone off the road and struck a tree. The 30-year-old woman inside of it was unresponsive and life-saving efforts were unsuccessful. She died at the scene. The vehicle was discovered at 12:08 Monday morning. Also responding to the scene were Fremont First Responders, Fire Department and Ambulance.
