3/5/22 Green Bay Men Involved In FDL County Vehicle Chase

Two Green Bay men are facing charges for a vehicle chase in Fond du Lac County that started out on I-41 and concluded with a search in the Eldorado Marsh Friday. Sheriff’s officials were notified by Winnebago County about a high-speed chase they were involved in and the chase was picked up on I-41 near Fond du Lac County Highway OO in the Town of Eldorado. Eventually the suspect vehicle entered the Eldorado Marsh where it crashed into a tree. A passenger, a 21-year-old Green Bay man, and the driver a 20-year-old Green Bay man both exited the vehicle. A search team using a drone and heat-detecting technology was able to locate and take both men into custody over two hours. The driver was treated at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac for minor injuries suffered in the crash and exposure to the elements. Both men are being charged for first degree recklessly endangering safety, fleeing, resisting arrest and other charges the passenger for being a party to the crime. The driver will also be charged in Winnebago County.
