Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services reported 464 new COVID-19 cases Thursday as the 7-day-rolling average for new cases continued to edge downward to 402. When the state averages less than 400 new cases a day it will be the first time since last July. Thirty-seven more deaths were reported with 30 of those occurring over a month ago and 47 people were hospitalized. The Wisconsin Hospital Association yesterday reported 316 COVID-19 patients in the 138 hospitals across the state with 60 of them in intensive care units.
Winnebago County had 11 new COVID-19 cases yesterday. Sixteen new cases were reported in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 2 new cases and 2 deaths. Green Lake and Waushara counties each had 2 new cases and Waupaca County recorded 4 new cases and 1 death.
