Wisconsin’s new COVID-19 cases are trending downward with 12,592 new cases since last Friday. Monday the state’s Department of Health Services reported 2,491 new cases lowering the 7-day rolling average to 5,926 daily cases. The DHS also reported 72 deaths since last Friday and 228 hospitalizations. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says there are 1,579 COVID-19 patients in the state’s 136 hospitals with 318 of those people in intensive care units.
Winnebago County reported 528 new cases of COVID-19 since Friday and 1 death. Two-hundred and forty-eight (248) new cases were reported in Fond du Lac County as it surpassed 28,000 (28,037) total cases and Dodge County had 93 new cases. Green Lake County had 48 new cases and 1 death, Waupaca County had 112 new cases, and Waushara County reported 55 new cases of the coronavirus.
