Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services reported 1,935 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday lowering the 7-day rolling average to 3,142 cases a day, the lowest average in about 2 months. A week ago the average stood over 5,000 a day. Deaths have not been trending down with 63 more reported Tuesday, but it takes time to confirm a COVID-19 death and submit a report to the state. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reported 1,207 COVID patients in hospitals across the state with 228 of them in intensive care units.

Green Lake County reported 16 new cases, Waupaca County had 27 new cases, and Waushara County had its total cases numbers revised down by 8 cases to 4,860.
