2/26/22 Two Killed One Injured In FDL County Accident

Two Fond du Lac residents were killed and a third was seriously injured when the vehicle they were in went off Highway 151 and struck a tree early Saturday morning. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office got a report at 2:23 am about the accident in the area of Highway 151 and County Highway WH. The vehicle was northbound when it went off of the road. Killed in the crash were a 41-year-old man and 34-year-old woman. A 37-year-old Fond du Lac man was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Sheriff’s officials say alcohol and speed were contributing factors in the crash. Assisting at the scene were the State Patrol, Calumet Fire Department and First Responders, Mt. Calvary Ambulance, Fire Department and First Responders. Highway 151 was closed for about 6 hours.
