Storytime

Storytimes focus on active learning and fun! On Wednesdays, March 2-23 at 10 a.m., early literacy and STEM concepts come to life through stories, music, movement, and enrichment activities. Storytimes are designed for 2–4-year-olds, accompanied by their caregiver, but enjoyable for the whole family.  Stay and Play after Storytime in the Romper Room.

Wild Child Nature Hikes

Build better brains and bodies with active outdoor discovery! Join Youth Services Librarian Linda DeCramer for walks, talks, and STEAM inspired enrichment activities in the great outdoors Tuesdays March 8 and 22 at 10 a.m. Supplies for the day’s walk provided. Bring your sense of wonder, discovery, and a willingness to share your own knowledge. Designed for kids 3-6 years, but enjoyable for all ages. Arrive a few minutes early to the designated location, dressed for the weather! Rain or a temperature/windchill of 10° or below will result in cancellation. Cancellations will be posted on the library website by 8 a.m.

March Take & Make

March 12th is Plant a Flower Day! Celebrate with a Take and Make Flower kit from the library! Kits include a small planter, mini shovel, marigold seeds, and dirt. Pick up from the check-out desk starting March 7th, while supplies last. For all ages!

Movie on the Big Screen

Saturday, March 12 at 10 a.m. all ages are invited to enjoy an eye catching and energetic feel-good story the whole family can enjoy. Rotten Tomatoes critics rank it 97% fresh! The title is available on the library website and Facebook. (Rated PG, 1 hour 54 minutes)

Pinterest Craft Club

Pinterest Craft Club resumes March 24th at 6:00 p.m. with a mini dinosaur terrarium! Attend in person or pick up supplies for a take and make craft. Registration required for both in person and take and make options. Those registered for take and make can pick up their kit starting March 24th. Teen/Adult program

Ongoing Programs

Romper Room

Physical activity and human connections are important for healthy, happy human beings, and the Romper Room facilitates both! Focusing on active play the room features a trike & trailer, foot-to-floor vehicles, a balance bike, tunnels, tumbling mats, balance beams, and more. The Romper Room is most engaging for ages 2-6 years, with masks required for ages 5 and up. The RR is thoroughly sanitized after every use. Schedule play dates by calling the library.

Monday Matinees

Every Monday at 2:00 p.m. enjoy a newly released or classic film on the big screen. For movie title and rating call the library or check the website.

Birth, Babies & Beyond

Join Dr. Autumn Pawlowski, PT, DPT of Advanced Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine for a “Babies, Birth, and Beyond” support group. Classes are held the second Thursday of each month, through March, from 4 to 5 p.m. with an upcoming class on February 10.  Topics covered throughout this series include nutrition, lifting mechanics, women’s health physical therapy, and more! All in the community are welcome.
