As new cases of COVID-19 continue to fall the 7-day rolling average in Wisconsin is closing in on 1,000 cases a day. The Department of Health Services Tuesday reported 820 new cases as the 7-day rolling average fell to 1,073 daily cases. The DHS also reported 21 more deaths, but 17 of them occurred over the past 30 days. The total number of lives lost to the coronavirus in the state since the pandemic began is 11,760.  Ninety-eight people were hospitalized. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reported 666 COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the state with 149 of them in intensive care units.

Winnebago County reported 17 new cases of COVID-19. Twenty-three (23) new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 9 new cases. Green Lake County had 3 new cases, Waupaca County had 9 new cases and 1 death, and Waushara County reported 4 new cases of the coronavirus.
