Saturday 1/15/22 Campbellsport Woman Killed In Traffic Accident

A 65-year-old Campbellsport woman died in a single vehicle rollover accident on State Highway 45 near Mitchell Road in Fond du Lac County’s Town of Osceola Friday evening. Sheriff’s officials say Margaret Weaver was heading south when her vehicle entered a curve south of Mitchell Road which she failed to negotiate. The vehicle went off the road and rolled over trapping her inside. Eden Fire Department was able to extricate her from the vehicle and life-saving measures were initiated, but Weaver succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Speed appears to be a factor in the crash which was reported to the County’s Communications Center through a 9-1-1 call at 6:18 pm. It was Fond du Lac County’s first fatal traffic accident of the year.
