Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services received 96 reports of deaths attributed to the COVID-19 virus Tuesday. Of those 88 were recorded over the past 30 days. As for new cases for the third straight day the state saw less than 10,000 new cases with 5,768 new cases. That lowered the 7-day rolling average to 9,781 daily cases. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reported 1,900 COVID-19 hospitalizations across the state with 387 of those patients in intensive care units.
Winnebago County reported 195 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday. One-hundred and twenty-four (124) new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 91 new cases. Twenty (20) new cases were reported in Green Lake County, Waupaca County had 76 new cases and 1 death, and Waushara County had 41 new cases of the coronavirus.
