With 46 more deaths from COVID-19 reported Tuesday the state surpassed 9,000 deaths since the pandemic began. State health officials say 9,019 lives have been claimed by the coronavirus. The Department of Health Services also reported the 7-day rolling average increased by 100 cases a day to 2,722 cases. Another 201 people were also hospitalized with COVID. The Wisconsin Hospital Association reports 1,418 patients with COVID-19 in hospitals across the state and 393 of them are in intensive care units.
Winnebago County Tuesday reported 140 new COVID-19 cases and 1 death. Ninety-three new cases were reported in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 55 new cases. Green Lake County had 33 new cases, Waupaca County had 69 new cases and 1 death, and Waushara County recorded 38 new cases and 1 death.
