Alliance Laundry Systems And USW Local 1327 Reach Five Year Agreement

Alliance Laundry Systems and United Steelworkers Local 1327 announced Thursday they have reached agreement on a new contract, effective January 1st. Union members voted to approve the contract December 8th. The new five-year agreement covers 1750 hourly team members at the Ripon and Manitowoc locations. It guarantees 2.5 percent wage increases each year for the length of the contract as well as cost of living adjustments. Team members will also see enhanced vacation and health and wellness benefits. Jim Reinsbach, president of United Steelworkers Local 1327, says, “Our members work hard to make a quality product.” He added that the contract recognizes that hard work and ensures their members will continue to earn the wages and benefits that are so important to them and their families. Alliance Laundry Systems vice president of Operations-North America Brad Nye says, “We appreciate the partnership of the USW as we work together to ensure our team members have the resources they need for success.” He added that Alliance continues to be a top-paying employer in the marketplace, and they are looking forward to the team’s continued success.
