Waukesha Holiday Parade Tragedy

Waukesha Police say 5 people were killed and over 40 people injured when a red SUV drove through the Waukesha Holiday Parade Sunday night. Those numbers could increase. Police Chief Dan Thompson said during a news conference last night a westbound vehicle went through barricades and plowed into a crowd of people. Police do have a person of interest in custody. The city’s Main Street is closed from Barstow & Main to Wisconsin and Main and won’t open until mid-day today. Meanwhile a temporary memorial has been set up at Waukesha’s Veterans Park.
