Two Injured In FDL County Accident

Two Green Bay men suffered minor injuries when the pickup truck they were in struck the rear end of a tractor with a disc and manure boom in Fond du Lac County’s Town of Taycheedah Friday night. Sheriff’s officials say it happened on US Highway 151 south of Kiekhaefer Parkway. The impact pushed the tractor partially into the east ditch while the truck came to rest on east shoulder. The 45-year-old Green Bay man driving the truck and a 31-year-old Green Bay man who was his passenger were taken to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. The 22-year-old Chilton man driving the tractor wasn’t injured. Alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in the crash, which was reported about 7:30 Friday evening.
