State health officials reported nearly 4,000 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, the most since October 5th. The 3,981 new cases increased the 7-day rolling average for new cases to 2,953. Thirty-two deaths were also reported as the death toll since the pandemic began reached 8,779 lives lost. The Department of Health Services also reported 200 hospitalizations. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says there are 1,144 COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the state with 322 of them in intensive care units.

Winnebago County reported 60 new COVID-19 cases and 1 death Tuesday. Winnebago County has now had 250 deaths from the coronavirus. One hundred and three (103) new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 69 new cases and 1 death. Green Lake County had 18 new cases, Waupaca County 70 new cases, and Waushara County reported 14 new cases of the coronavirus and 1 death.
