COVID 19 Report Tuesday

The state’s Department of Health Services Tuesday clarified the number of people that have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine over the past 11 months. That number is now over 7 million since December 13th about a half a million more than the last update. But the DHS also reported an increase in new COVID-19 cases with 3,229 people testing positive in the latest batch. The rolling 7-day average of new cases per day is at 2,295. State health officials also reported 25 more deaths and 132 hospitalizations.

Winnebago County Tuesday reported 125 new COVID-19 cases and 2 deaths. Fifty-six new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County and Dodge County had 35 new cases. Green Lake County had 13 new cases, Waupaca County had 47 new cases, and Waushara County reported 21 new cases of the coronavirus.
