On Thursday for a third straight day the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported more than 3,000 new COVID-19 cases. The DHS says there were 3,626 new cases moving the 7-day rolling average up by more than 100 cases a day to 2,576 daily cases. Twelve more deaths were also reported putting the total number of lives lost during the pandemic in the state at 8,700. The state also reported 154 more hospitalizations. The Wisconsin Hospital Association Thursday said there are 1,062 COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the state with 285 of them in intensive care units.

Winnebago County Thursday reported 112 new COVID-19 cases. Seventy new cases and 4 deaths were reported in Fond du Lac County and 89 new cases in Dodge County. Green Lake County had 15 new cases, Waupaca County had 34 new cases, and Waushara County recorded 9 new cases of the coronavirus.
