State health officials say the 7-day rolling average for new COVID-19 cases fell during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend from 2,749 on Friday to 2,622 on Monday. The positivity rate also fell from 11.8 percent to 10.9 percent the first time it has fallen below 11 percent in two weeks. The Department of Health Services also reported 19 more deaths and 267 hospitalizations since Friday. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says 1,432 people are hospitalized across the state with COVID-19 and 391 are in intensive care units.
Winnebago County Monday reported 15 new COVID-19 cases. Since last Wednesday Fond du Lac County reported 190 new cases and Dodge County had 161 new cases. Green Lake County recorded 10 new cases, Waupaca County 44 new cases, and Waushara County reported 2 new coronavirus cases.
