The Wisconsin Department of Health Services Monday issued a side-by-side comparison of how you may fare if you haven’t been fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. The comparisons used data from last month. Those who are not vaccinated are 15 times more likely to die from the coronavirus compared to those who are fully vaccinated, 11 times more likely to be hospitalized, and 5 times more likely to be diagnosed with COVID. Meanwhile the DHS reported 6,514 new cases since last Friday with 25 more deaths and 256 hospitalizations.
Winnebago County Monday reported 215 new COVID-19 cases and 2 deaths. One hundred and fifty (150) new cases were recorded in Fond du Lac County since last Friday and Dodge County had 200 cases and 1 death. Green Lake County had 10 new cases, Waupaca County had 39 new cases, and Waushara County reported 9 new cases of the coronavirus.
