FOX VALLEY ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE MEET
NEENAH – Appleton North’s first-, second- and fourth-place finishes in the 100-yard breaststroke and first-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay allowed the Lightning to build up a big enough lead to withstand Oshkosh West’s challenge for first place at the Fox Valley Association conference meet Saturday.
Appleton North finished with 570 points, while Oshkosh West was just six points behind at 564.
Appleton North picked up 52 points with its three top-five finishes in the breaststroke, while Oshkosh West picked up 28 points in the event, giving the Lightning enough of a cushion when combined with its first- and sixth-place finishes to withstand the Wildcats’ charge.
Appleton North had seven first-place finishes while Oshkosh West had four first-place finishes. Neenah had one first-place finish.

EASTERN WISCONSIN CONFERENCE MEET
KIEL – Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Sheboygan Falls had six first-place finishes to easily take first place at the conference meet with 143 points.
Brillion/Valders/Chilton/Kaukauna was a distant second with 71 points.
The Blue Bombers took first place in the 200-yard freestyle relay, the 200 freestyle, 50 freestyle, 500 freestyle, 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay.
Kiel and Brillion/Valders/Chilton/Kaukauna both had two first-place finishes, while Plymouth and Two Rivers/Roncalli both had one first-place finish.
