First Responders Of The Year Recognized

The State Assembly this week honored first responders during their First Responder of the Year celebration. State Representative Alex Dallman of Green Lake says his office got a lot of nominations for the 41st State Assembly District but Glen Bubolz stuck out. He says Bubolz selflessly served the Montello Fire Department for 50 years and 25 of those years he served as the Fire Chief. In the 54th State Assembly District State Representative Gordon Hintz of Oshkosh recognized Battalion Chief Mike Rutter who has been with the Oshkosh Fire Department for 26 years. Each award recipient was provided with a legislative citation recognizing their achievement. The State Assembly also passed a resolution recognizing today as First Responders Appreciation Day.
