Dodge County Motorcycle Accident Claims A Life

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that claimed the life of a 34-year-old rural Beaver Dam man early Sunday morning. At 5 am Sunday morning the Sheriff’s Office got a call about a motorcycle that was in a ditch and a man nearby who appeared to be deceased. The investigation determined the man was southbound on South Center Road when he failed to negotiate a curve near Jackson Road in the Town of Beaver Dam. The bike went into a ditch and the driver was thrown from it. He was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene. Excessive speed and alcohol impairment are believed to be possible factors in the crash. The crash likely occurred within the two hours prior to its discovery.
