Vehicle And Semi Collide At Intersection In Rosendale

A 31-year-old Rosendale woman suffered significant injuries when her car collided with a semi at the intersection of State Highways 26 and 23 in the Village of Rosendale Monday night. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say she was unable to avoid the truck that went through a red light at the intersection. The woman wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was taken to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. The 64-year-old Minnesota man driving the semi wasn’t injured. Investigators say inattentive driving appears to be a factor in the crash. The accident was reported to the County’s Communication Center at 8:31 Monday evening. Members of the Rosendale Fire Department, Ripon EMS, and the State Patrol assisted at the scene.
