Fatal Crash In Waushara County

One person was killed in a crash involving a potato truck and minivan in Waushara County Thursday morning. Sheriff Wally Zuehlke says his 911 Dispatch Center got a call at 2:31 am about the collision on County Road P near the intersection of County Road J in the Town of Oasis. The minivan driver died at the scene. There were no passengers in either vehicle. The Sheriff’s Department, the State Patrol, and Waushara County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the accident. Also responding to the scene were Waushara County EMS, and fire departments from Plainfield, Almond and Wild Rose responded to the scene.
