Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services reported 2,088 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday causing the 7-day rolling average for new cases to jump by almost 200 cases to 1,670. On Monday the average was 1,482 new daily cases. Wisconsin’s COVID-19 death toll also rose with 15 new deaths reported. Since the pandemic began 7,771 people have lost their lives to the virus. The state also says 153 people were hospitalized. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says there are now 1,055 COVID patients hospitalized across the state with 314 in intensive care units.

Winnebago County reported 65 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday. Sixty-one new cases were reported in Fond du Lac County as it moved past 14,000 total cases to 14,022 since the pandemic began. Dodge County recorded 28 new cases, Green Lake County 11 new cases, Waupaca County had 10 new cases, and Waushara County reported 8 new coronavirus cases.
