Motorcyclist Injured In Dodge County Traffic Crash

A motorcyclist suffered severe injuries when his bike collided with a pickup truck on State Highway 26 at Prospect Road in Dodge County’s Oak Grove Township Wednesday morning. Sheriff’s officials say the motorcyclist was heading north on Highway 26 approaching the intersection with Prospect Road. The pickup truck was heading east on Prospect Road and failed to yield the right of way pulling out into the intersection. The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the truck. The motorcyclist was flown to Aurora Medical Center in Summit. The biker was wearing a helmet and protective gear. The pickup truck driver was not injured. The accident was reported shortly before 8:30 am.
