FDL County Pursuit Cut Short

A 49-year-old Green Lake County man is facing charges for fleeing from a traffic stop in Fond du Lac County early Friday morning. A Sheriff’s deputy pulled him over on Highway 45 near Lovers Road in the Town of Auburn for several traffic violations. When the deputy began investigating for possible impairment he fled from the scene. The deputy cut off the pursuit after 3 miles, but during the stop had learned the driver’s identity and relayed the information to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. The man was arrested by Germantown Police after another vehicle pursuit in their jurisdiction. He’s facing felony eluding, resisting arrest charges, and a citation for possession of open intoxicants in Fond du Lac County. No one was injured and no property was damaged during the pursuit.
