Expanding On A Mental Health Partnership
The Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health for Agnesian HealthCare says the Ripon School District has reached out to them in the past when it comes to mental health programs. “We have a great partnership with them doing some innovative programming, doing some training, some groups for the kids, some parent education nights and then starting to explore that next level.” Dr. Matt Doll says taking it to the next level would mean creating a way to have mental health services in the schools, such as a satellite clinic. He says that would be a way to really help kids and families get the care they need in a more timely fashion.

It Is No Dunder Mifflin
According to one article Americans enjoyed endless hours of watching what was going on in “The Office” during the pandemic, but didn’t necessarily want to return to work themselves. Jeff Puhlmann-Becker of the Ripon Community COVID-19 Task Force says the article noted people streamed reruns of “The Office” about the fictional Dunder Mifflin paper and office supplies company more than any other TV show. “It’s an interesting article apparently over the pandemic Americans watched 57 billion minutes of “The Office,” the TV show “The Office” many, many times more than any other streaming show on any streaming service.” Puhlmann-Becker says the article pointed out that while people enjoyed watching the show they didn’t necessarily want to return to work in their own offices. In fact 40 percent of white collar workers wanted to continue working from a remote location and only 20 percent wanted to return to their office.
