Train Versus Camper Accident In Fox Crossing

No one was injured when a camper stalled on some train tracks as a train was coming along in Fox Crossing Thursday night. Fox Crossing Police and the Fox Crossing Fire Department were dispatched to the area of American Drive and the railroad tracks after the camper was struck by the oncoming train. The occupant of the camper exited the vehicle and called for assistance, but the train couldn’t stop in time and struck the camper. The back end or living portion of the camper was virtually destroyed, though the cab portion was left virtually intact. The incident happened about 8:30 last night.
