Multiple Vehicle Pursuit Results In Arrest Of Illinois Man

A 47-year-old Berwyn, Illinois man is facing charges in Fond du Lac, Marinette, and Washington counties for leading authorities on multiple chases with a car stolen from a dealership in Illinois Sunday afternoon. The pursuit in Fond du Lac County began on Interstate 41 south near Highway 151 after two separate drivers reported the suspect driving recklessly. The chase lasted 27 miles and concluded in Washington County when the suspect’s vehicle became disabled after running over a tire deflation device and sideswiping another vehicle. Another vehicle was damaged earlier in a pursuit in Marinette County. No one was injured in either pursuit. Among the charges the suspect faces in Fond du Lac County are felony eluding, operating a stolen vehicle, and numerous traffic citations.
