Juneau Woman Killed In Pickup Versus Semi Accident
22 June 2021 News
Dodge County Sheriff’s officials say a 45-year-old Juneau woman died when her pickup truck went through a stop sign and was struck by a semi-truck in the Town of Ashippun Monday afternoon. The woman was driving a Ford F-350 pickup truck west on Town Road MM and went through a stop sign. Her truck was struck by a southbound semi on State Highway 67. The two vehicles ended up in the ditch striking a power pole causing live wires to fall on both. The woman died at the scene. The 21-and 22-year-old men from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in the semi were not injured. The primary factor for the fatal accident was the pickup going through a stop sign, but Sheriff’s investigators are looking into inattentive driving and failure to use a seatbelt as possible factors too.
