Infant Death Being Investigated

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office and County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the death of a 5-month old baby boy in the Town of Calumet Monday morning. The County’s Communications Center got a 911 call from N10198 Gulig Road just after 8:30 am about an infant that was not breathing and non-responsive. The Communications Officer began CPR protocol via phone with the caller. Deputies, Mt. Calvary EMS and Fond du Lac Paramedics responded to the scene, but despite resuscitation efforts the baby died. The death is now being investigated.
