FDL Girl In Critical Condition After Being Struck By A Car

An 8-year-old Fond du Lac girl was critically injured when she was hit by a car while trying to cross one of Fond du Lac’s busiest streets on her bicycle Monday night. The girl was taken to St. Agnes Hospital in critical condition and was then flown to Children’s Hospital. Police say the girl was trying to cross East Johnson Street when she was struck by a westbound vehicle being driven by a 50-year-old North Fond du Lac man. It happened in the area of East Johnson and Amory Streets shortly after 9 o’clock last evening.
