The state’s Department of Health Services says 49.1 percent of state residents or more than 2.8 million people have received at least one dose of COVID vaccine. The number of residents who are fully vaccinated is now at 44.2 percent or close to 2.6 million people. The DHS also reports only two more deaths since last Friday putting the death toll in the state at 7,208 lives since the pandemic began. The number of new cases over the weekend was 185 with the 7-day average for new cases dropping to 112 cases.
Winnebago County Monday reported 3 new COVID-19 cases. Since last Friday Fond du Lac County reported 5 new cases and Dodge County had none during that same time span. Green Lake County recorded 1 new case yesterday and Waupaca and Waushara counties had none.
