Car Abandoned In Rock River
10 June 2021 News
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating how a car ended up submerged in the Rock River in the Town of Hustisford. The Sheriff’s Office got a 911 call just before 3 pm Wednesday from people who were swimming in the river off the bridge on Elmwood Road when they saw a submerged car in the river. The Hustisford Fire Department deployed a watercraft and confirmed the information. The Beaver Dam Fire Department Dive Team was called in to assist and verified no one was in the submerged vehicle, which was a discarded BMW 323. A towing company pulled the vehicle from the river. Anyone with information about the car is urged to call the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office at (920) 386-3726. (Dodge County Sheriff’s photo)
