Waupaca County Fatal Farming Accident

A 2-year-old boy died following a farming accident in Waupaca County’s Town of St Lawrence Monday evening. Sheriff’s officials say their communications center got a call just after 6:30 that evening. It was determined the toddler was riding in a skid steer and fell forward. He was briefly pinned between the bucket and a support arm. He was flown to ThedaCare Medical Center in Neenah and later transferred to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee where he died. Names are being withheld pending the investigation.
