Fire Destroys Garage In Fox Crossing

Fire destroyed a garage attached to a home in Fox Crossing Thursday afternoon. Firefighters responded to the home in the 1300 block of Linda Avenue at 12:19 pm. When they arrived a large amount of fire was coming from the backside of the garage and smoke was along the roofline. The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes. There was smoke damage throughout the first floor and basement of the home. The blaze destroyed the garage and its contents. No one was injured and a dog was rescued, but was unharmed. Friends and neighbors assisted the family. The cause of the fire is being investigated. (Fox Crossing Fire Department photo)
