Fatal Accident In Waupaca County

One person was killed and another critically injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident on Waupaca County Highway U at Railroad Grade Road early Wednesday morning. Sheriff’s officials say they got a report about the accident in the Town of Weyauwega shortly after 2:30 am. The driver had gone off the road into the west ditch and when reentering the road the vehicle rolled over several times. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. A passenger was taken to ThedaCare Medical Center in Waupaca and was transferred to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with life-threatening injuries.
