State health officials say since mid-December nearly 4 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to state residents and out-of-state residents. Just fewer than 41 percent or 2.36 million state residents have received at least one dose and 28.8 percent or 1.67 million residents are fully vaccinated.  The Department of Health Services reported 626 new COVID cases Wednesday or 12.3 percent of the 5,065 test results that came back. Three more deaths were also recorded putting the death toll since the pandemic began at 6,721 people.

As of Wednesday 38.3 percent of Winnebago County residents have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 28 percent are fully vaccinated. Those numbers are 35.4 percent and 26.9 percent in Fond du Lac County, 32.4 and 23.3 percent in Dodge County.  In Green Lake County 36.2 percent of residents have gotten at least one shot in the arm and 29.1 percent are fully vaccinated, while those numbers in Marquette County are 35.3 and 28.8 percent. In Waushara County 29.1 percent of residents have gotten at least one shot and 23.6 percent are fully vaccinated and in Waupaca County those numbers are 34.1 and 26.8 percent.
