State health officials reported 373 new COVID-19 cases Monday, which was 12 percent of the 3,042 test results that came back. When all tests are accounted for including those who have been tested multiple times the positivity rate is 3.5 percent down from a high of 3.8 percent last Tuesday. There was also 1 new death, which puts the death toll since the pandemic began at 6,710 lives. The Department of Health Services reports 37 people were hospitalized. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says 357 COVID patients are being treated in the state’s 136 hospitals and 94 of them are in intensive care units.
Winnebago County reported 13 new COVID-19 cases Monday. Fond du Lac County has had 18 new cases since last Friday and Dodge County has had 17 new cases during that time span. Green Lake, Waupaca and Waushara counties reported no new cases. Marquette County had 1 new case.
