For the third straight day Wisconsin saw the number of new coronavirus cases fall. The Department of Health Services Monday reported 402 new cases or 12.6 percent of the 3,181 test results that came back. Three deaths were also reported putting the death toll during the pandemic in the state at 6,680 people. The DHS says 34 people were hospitalized. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says 304 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19 and 75 are in intensive care units.
Winnebago County reported 23 new COVID-19 cases Monday. Fond du Lac County has had 14 new cases since last Friday and Dodge County had 16 new cases over that same time span. No new cases were reported in Green Lake and Waushara counties. Marquette County had 1 new case and Waupaca County had 2 new cases.
