Fond du Lac County Judge candidate Laura Lavey says having young children changes your perspective. The mother of two boys ages two and four says it changes your priorities and at the end of the day you really want to leave things better for your children. That’s why she’s trying to make the jump from commercial litigator to County Court Circuit Court Judge. “I recognize that we really right now especially when there is such divisiveness and unrest in our world we need people who really care who are knowledgeable who want to do the work to really step up and serve and that’s what I’m doing, that’s why I’m running.” The Fond du Lac area native says she will bring a new passion and fresh perspective to the bench.
