House Fire In Fox Crossing

No one was injured during a fire in Fox Crossing Sunday morning that destroyed an attached garage and damaged a home. Firefighters were dispatched just before 6:30 am for what was called in as a shed fire at 716 Hummingbird Lane, but when fire crews arrived there was fire throughout the garage and heavy smoke coming from the rear of the home. Everyone was able to safely evacuate from the home. Fire department officials say ceilings had to be pulled down to stop the spread of the fire into the home. Fire and water damage were present throughout the garage and a portion of the living space. The blaze remains under investigation.
