Fatal Accident In Waushara County

The driver of a car lost their life in a head on crash with a semi on Highway 49 in Waushara County Monday morning. Sheriff Wally Zuehlke says the collision occurred just under a half mile south of Cypress Avenue in the Town of Aurora. They received a 911 call at 4:19 am. In addition to Sheriff Deputies, Berlin Police, Green Lake County Sheriff’s deputies, Berlin Fire and EMS, the Waushara County Highway Department, the Waushara County Medical Examiner’s Office and State Patrol responded to the crash scene. The driver of the car died at the scene.
