Dodge County Motorcycle Accident

A 25-year-old man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on State Highway 175 in Dodge County’s Town of Leroy late Friday morning. Sheriff’s officials say he was heading south at a high rate of speed and just passed over a small hill when the bike began to slide. The motorcycle went off the roadway, struck a mailbox and overturned in a cornfield. He was ejected from the bike as it slid and overturned in the cornfield. He was wearing a helmet. A Flight for Life helicopter flew him to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa. The accident near County Highway HH occurred just before 11:30 Friday morning.
