Twenty-nine more deaths from COVID-19 in Wisconsin Tuesday pushed the death toll since the pandemic began over 6,500 deaths to 6,510 people. The state also saw 463 new cases or nearly 31 percent of the 1,496 test results that came back. Fifty-seven of the state’s 72 counties had new cases of the coronavirus. The Department of Health Services also reported 70 hospitalizations. The Wisconsin Hospital Association says there are 244 COVID patients in the state’s hospitals with 63 in intensive care units.

Winnebago County reported 18 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday and 1 death. Fond du Lac County had no new cases and Dodge County recorded 5 new cases. Green Lake, Marquette, and Waushara counties reported no new cases, while Waupaca County had 6 new coronavirus cases.
